Beth Nixon, Designer

Beth (aka BethyNixon) currently lives on the East Coast of the US outside of Philadelphia although she will always think of herself as an Ohio girl. She moved here, on a whim, with no job and no long term plans on staying, over 12 years ago. She is married with 2 children, Liam and Kate. After college, she worked in many different industries (retail, grocery store (store and office level), fork lift manufacturer, and the financial industry) and is now a proud stay-at-home mom.

Her last job included managing all of her companies web sites. A position she sort of fell into and is self taught on all her web and graphic programs. And she still does the occasional web site on the side for small businesses. She's been keeping web sites of her family since she was pregnant with her son. As her family and friends are all over the country, she found this an easy way to stay in touch. This meant lots of pictures. Lots. The web sites have pictures, stories, and all sorts of updates. When surfing the web for more information on how to tweak the pictures, she stumbled upon DSP. And she discovered scrapping in a passionate way! Putting together journaling and pictures in a beautiful way completely satisfies her long suppressed artistic longings. And at 40, this was a very pleasant surprise!

Beth loves scrapping but discovered a passion for designing as well while taking some classes at DSP! Her goal while designing is to create beautiful backdrops for a scrappers photos and memories! Nothing thrills her more than seeing members create works of art that will forever represent that moment in their lives!
