Christine answers to many names, Christine, Chris or some form of Gundi, plus Mom and Babe for her family. She has been married for 14 years to a fabulous man and her best friend, who likes to say she is like Tigger, because she is bouncy, pouncy and full of energy. They have 4 highly energetic and awesome children, two boys and two girls, ages, 12, 10, almost 8, and 4. She has lived her whole life in Utah, but they love to travel as a family, going to California, Idaho, Wyoming and Mexico the most often.
Christine has always been a crafty girl, you name it and she probably has the supplies to do it. She first started scrapping 12 years ago after their first child was born. My how scrapping has changed since then! Supplies were sooooooo limited. A dozen colors of paper, decorative scissors and some stickers were the majority of what was available. When digital cameras first came out, she was leery, REALLY leery. Some of the comments that she was alleged to say, "The pictures are ju st too icky." "There is no way I will be getting a digital camera any time soon." "Why would you want all of your pictures on your computer?" She now has 2 digital cameras, including a Nikon D80, and there are 3 others in the house. LOL When she first heard about digital scrapbooking, she lurked at DSP for a couple of months. Finally in September of 2006, she took the plunge, completing her very first digital layout EVER, for the DET CONTEST!
She still says she doesn't know what she was thinking. LOL But the seed had been planted, at first the plan was to do both digital and paper, by Christmas it was more like 70/30 and by the next spring the addiction was complete. Since then she has hardly touched her paper supplies, despite having an entire room full of "stuff." She has been actively involved at DSP ever since that first layout, creating on the DET 6 team, running the Scrapping with the Stars challenge, and hanging out in the Granny Thread.
She has been published several times, the 2 biggest feathers in her cap, being Creating Keepsakes and Digital Scrapbook Magazine. This year she has really focused on designing and she is thrilled to be able to share her love for this wonderful hobby with all of you, through her designs!
As far as life outside of DSP (gasp!), she has many interests and just wishes there were more hours in the day, since there are so many fabulous things to learn and do. Reading has always been BIG on her list, even when she was little. Her mom would often find her under the covers, reading with a flashlight, WAY after she should have been asleep. The Twilight, Harry Potter, Eragon and Artemis Fowl series are some of her current favorites.
Some of her other favorites include: brownies with ice cream, (actually almost anything with ice cream, especially if it is peppermint flavor), swimming, hiking, photographing anything that will hold still, water skiing, and most of all family time. By far her favorite color is red, as is easy to see if you look in her closet.
Christine loves to share her passion for scrapbooking with anyone who will listen and she can't wait to see what amazing things you will do with her designs. She is thrilled to be a designer and feels so lucky that she can call this creative, fun, and exciting hobby, a JOB. (Shhhhh don't tell anyone her secret! LOL)

Boyish in Blue Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"This kit is fantastic! Not only great background papers but lots of elements to choose from! I know I will be using this kit over and over again since I have so many "boy" photos to scrap with! Thanks Christine!"

Blowing In The Wind Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"I really liked this kit and found a lot of uses for it. I have wanted a grungy sandy type of kit for the beach (which to me isn't tropical) This kit was wonderful for the shots I have of playing in the sand or running along the shore - in the wind. The best part of the kit is the swirly overlay - which I have used on other pages to enhance my image or as a border. Other uses include outdoors, camping, and hiking themes."

Warm and Fuzzy Add On Pack
[5 of 5 Stars]

"Warm browns and rich reds make this add on pack the perfect compliment to the WARM AND FUZZY PAGE KIT. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the overaly.. goes great for couples pages, kids, family.. you name it. Terrific AOP that I thought was a complete new kit at first- so the quality is exceptional !"

Boyish in Blue Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"The colors in this kit are so rich and vibrant! The elements are perfect compliments to the colors. The pieces are also very versatile and easy to manipulate. I love the faint patina on the metal elements, and the green background - which can look either like liquid silk or like a chalkboard depending on how you use it - overall - 5 Stars!"

Read All Over Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"Red and black ALWAYS makes a stunning combination for a layout - layouts done in these colors LEAP from the gallery. This is a beautiful kit that I can hardly wait to use."

Family Links Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"The word art is layout inspiring; the papers just gorgeous and as for that bow...wow! Then there's that little strip of wallpaper just peeling away from the wall (if only it was that easy), just the perfect touch. Combine this with Chris's "A Little Bit Dirty Overlay Set" and you can make the striped paper look like it's pleated."

Some Kind of Wonderful Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"this terrific kit is so richly textured, a bit funky and unconventional. Love the grungy papers and the elements are fun ! Very versitile, this kit lends itself to indoor and outdoor photos and is not gender specific. WONDERFUL kit by our newest designer. A MUST HAVE for you fun photos."
