Erica and her partner Ian have been together for 6 years now and with their blended family they have a total of ten children and grandchildren – Whew!! Erica’s son Robert and grandson Lee, Ian’s two daughters, Sandy and Wendy, Wendy lives in Sydney and has four daughters, Emma, Laura, Sarah and Kate. Sandy has two children, Samantha and David, the ages of the grandchildren range from the youngest Lee at nearly 4 (a Christmas baby) to Samantha at 20.

Whilst Erica has a love of Italian and Indian cuisine she has no junk food addictions unless you count sausages done on the bar-b, she would much rather have a plate of fresh vegies than a bar of chocolate – how sad is that – you have to feel sorry for her LOL.

Holidays are generally spent in Australia visiting, shopping or just sightseeing – no relaxing by the pool for Erica she likes to be on the go!   Her next planned trip is to visit her sister Jill in the UK or France, wherever she happens to be at the time as she has two homes.  Jill is the person Erica most admires and has always had a close bond with her even though the physical distance is great; web cam and messenger shrink the distance considerably and allow them to be in constant contact.

Currently Erica works full time as an Office Administrator for a commercial interior designer and spends part of her day in Photoshop and Front Page when updating their web site, it seems as though she is permanently attached to a computer either at work or at home! When not on her PC at home visiting DSP (Which isn’t very often as she’s addicted to the place) you’ll find Erica in the garden pulling up a weed or two or reading, especially poetry as she has developed a web site devoted to this hobby www.words-of-love-poems-and-quotes.com  

Erica first ‘found’ DSP whilst browsing scrap-booking sites for inspiration, at the time she was very involved with altered paint cans which she made for family, friends and just about anyone who wanted one of her creations. Well from then on she became a sponge; never having done scrap booking of any kind she enrolled for just about all the DSU classes available for PS, and she hasn’t looked back.  She feels very honoured and privileged to be part of the DSP Team and finds it a wonderfully heart-warming experience to talk to people from all over the world in the forums and to see the awe-inspiring layouts that are created in the galleries.
