Heid lives in Menomonie, Wisconsin with her husband, Mark, of 10 years. They have been blessed with 3 children... Rayanne is 9, Briella is 6 & Deakon keeps them busy at age 3. Let's not forget about the dogs... Peanut, the little dog, is guessed to be a mix of chihuahua & miniture pincsher but she is often called the cat as she is only 6 lbs and has many cat qualities. Greta, the big dog, is about 70 lbs & a mix of hound and retriever which completes their happy home!
Heidi has always had an eye for creativity, always taking as many art classes as she could in school. She continued her education with a BA in Graphic Design & worked at a local newspaper designing ads. Shortly after her second daughter was born, the decision was made for her to become a stay at home mom. Although she had been a paper scrapper since Rayanne was a baby, she always hated her handwriting (lots of scribbles & misspelled words). At first she just turned to computer journaling, but the search for that perfect font led her to Digital Scrapbooking. She fell in love & has never turned back! She loves the 'no mess' that the computer brings & the simple fact that you can do ANYTHING with your photos.
In Heidi's spare time (spare time with a 3 year old??), she enjoys going for long walks, watching movies & reality TV. She has recently taken up photography, snapping shots of families, children & seniors. The couple also keeps busy remodeling their 100 year old victorian home that they purchased about 4 years ago & had physically moved to a new location. Although it was a headache at the time, they learned alot & can say it was sooooo worth it! They can finally say that they have their dream home. In the winter, the family invites friends & family over for some sleding in their backyard & in the summer, they like to go camping with their family & friends.
Heidi has really enjoyed being a member here at DSP & is excited to finally have the chance to design for DSP. As far as she is concerned it is the "ONLY Digital Scrapbook site you need"!
