Janet lives in the Colorado mountains with her husband and beloved Samoyeds.
Having grown up in Colorado (as did her husband) her favorite topics to scrap is her life in the mountains. She's taken many jobs in the past from teaching second grade in a small rural school, to machining work, to working in a bakery. She's learned over the years that she just plain loves to learn and to stay busy!

She joined DSP on its opening day, April 1, 2004 when she had recently discovered digital scrapbooking, and like so many others, was instantly hooked. Becoming a moderator thrilled her to no end. Having once considered learning how to design kits, she took some DSP classes only to learn this was NOT where she wanted to take her creativity, though the photography classes here sparked an interest that has since grown into a scanning and photography business.

Her current favorite place to vacation is Yellowstone, as it's near family and acts as a 'second home' of sorts, though she finds traveling anywhere in the motorhome delightful, and counts down the years until her husband retires so they can travel more.
