Great tutorial!!! Wish you could do them more often but I know you have a full plate. Can you tell us about anymore scripts or places to find them? I love scripts but haven't taken the time to learn how to do them myself.

Scripts are somewhat new to Photoshop...debuted in CS
There aren't a whole lot out there right now but keep looking...I am sure many more will pop up soon

I checked out that script today and it says that it is only for CS. I have CS2, do you know if it would still work?

This is a fabulous tutorial, Lisa! After Paths class, I use this technique almost every time I do a LO. I KNEW there had to be an easier way than eyballing!
Even if I use someone else's sketch . . . Here's what I do. Open the sketch in a new layer, then reduce the opacity to at least 50%. Then I add my new layers underneath this layer and set up my pieces using the transparent sketch lines and shapes as a guide. I can turn the visibility on and off when needed and then I can either leave the visibility off or delete that layer all together when I'm finished.
Did you also know that you can use the clipping mask on an element or shape that's already been placed in your LO? If you want to change paper, but stay with shape provided in a kit (tag, curved border or whatever), just place the new paper layer over the shape's layer making sure it covers all of it and then Ctrl-G, just like you do in the tut.
I read this technique somewhere (probably DSP), but I can't remember where in order to give credit.

yes Serena it works with CS2
Hooz...yeppers I knew that...LOL
basically a clipping mask makes the layer take the shape of any pixels on layer beneath

Hi - I'm brand new to digiscrapping. I have PS 7. I was able to get the sketch built however, I can't get the get the script stuff to work from Adobe. I downloaded the zip file and ran it but there are no scripts equivallent to the Collector script. What is the manual process to do what the script does? I know my way around my laptop but this PS thing is a whole new way of thinking for me. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!
TIA -c-

Here is my layout that I did while working through Lisa's tutorial. The tutorial is very well written and was fun to follow. I am using PSE 3 so I had to skip the parts about the script, but I still learned a lot from the tutorial. Thank you, Lisa!
I welcome any suggestions anyone has. I am not too sure about the text color for the quote and I am also not "WOWed" by the slide element in the bottom left corner. What do you all think? Any other CC is welcome, also.

Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with us. Thank you for the script collector tip. I'll be downloading it soon; although I am not sure what a script is in photoshop. Well, that just tell you how much I know about digital scrapbooking. Thank you again.
PD: looking forward to next tutorial.

I just love this idea for the sketches. Won't this help us all get even more pages done faster? I've never posted a link before so don't know if this will work but here is the address of my sketch. Thanks Lisa...I've already been to the tutorials twice looking for Feb.
