So frustrated!!

aarrrgghhh!! I can't believe how frustrated I'm getting doing this layout. I hate being a beginner.... Anyways, my problem is, I can figure out what kind of layout I want and arrange the pictures how I want them, but then I get stuck on how to embellish it. It's so frustrating. Can anyone help me out? (again!) I feel kind of bad asking for help again, but I'm really stuck. I really want this page to look good.

The layout is of all the people that came to visit us in the hospital when my son was born. Aunts, grandmothers and grandfathers. They each took a picture holding him and I wanted to make a layout to show this. These are the ideas I'm toying with:

1. Place a big title in the middle and a journal box underneath (not sure if I'll be using alphas of fonts)

2. Add 3 more pictures to the bottom and big title in the middle. (no journalling)

3. Add 3 more pictures in the bottom and make a journal box with a title.

4. Make a journal box in the centre and a title underneath.

I think those are all the ideas I had. My problem is, I can do those things, but I don't know how to make them look good. I see all these beautiful embellishement, but I'm not sure where they belong. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thank you again sooooooo much!

You are off to a great start!

Do you have a photo of you and your husband with the baby that you could put in the center and a title along the bottom.

With that many photos, I wouldn't use a lot of embellishments - maybe mat the smaller photos on strips of coordinating paper, not individual mats and then mat the center photo with a couple of papers.

Run a ribbon through the layout.

And don't forget a date on the layout.

Your off to a great start! I agree with Maggie - it doesn't need a lot of embellishments.

Als0 - make sure you put very small shadows on each of your photos. Also make sure you line up your photos just right :)
