And in the spirit of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" I have one too (see my signature). I started it to help me break through the journalling barrier. I'm not used to putting thoughts and feelings in writing, and I thought I'd use this as a tool to help me get over that. So it doesn't have a particular theme, it's about all sorts of stuff; like the speech I gave for my sister's 50th birthday and how excited I was to find a photo of my daughter that she actually liked. Please feel free to visit -- this is also a big step for me.

For those that use Blogger, is there a way to "subscribe" to other's blogs so that you are notified when they make entries to their blogs? Xanga has this feature and I get a daily digest of the blogs I follow over there. It makes it really nice to keep up with what people are doing.

www.bloglines.com. It lets you subscribe to any blog. You put a link on your favorites menu & when you visit a blog you like you click that link & it subscribes you to the feed. Then you go tobloglines & it has a all your blog subscriptions in a list & lets you know what's updates since your last visit

I never realised how many people actually blog. Oh, I normally put something up on a private blog, but its mostly for a friend of mine out of the country. He reads it when he gets the chance. I have had blogs ever since installing Picasa and Hello (blogspot is part of their suite). They are in my signature. I started with a gardening blog when I built a sunroom last year so I could keep track of the comings and goings of birds and animals. Julie--DSP doesn't have its own blogs, but you can link to any blog from your signature line in your posts. Many of us use blogger.com, but any blog site is fair game.

Well I have had a bit of trouble figuring them out. I want it to look exactly like I want it to look before I start scribbling in it and that's not how it went so I got mad and dumped it.
