Hey there!
I have the trial version of PSCS and I'm new to digital scrapbooking. I've almost completed my first layout but I keep running into annoying little snags. So here's my first (of many, I'm sure) question: Once you have pasted a photo or element into a layout, can you resize or otherwise alter it, or do you have to know exactly how it should look before you get it on the main page?
Thanks for the help - I look forward to learning from all of you!
Jenn :)
You can do almost anything in PS! Think it up, and somewhere you can do it.
Type Ctrl-T to free transform to resize things.
There are a bunch more ways to access that too:
Edit>Transform>Scale
Edit>Free Transform
select the marquee tool and right click>Free Transform
select the move tool and check Show Bounding Box in the Options Bar and use those handles to resize
One guideline, hold the shift key (or click the little link icon in the Options Bar) to keep the object in proportion.
hth, ask more if you run into anything else, or if this isn't working for you

That worked like a charm - thanks!
I knew there had to be a way. So much to learn... :)
Glad it worked. Please be sure to post a link to your layout so I can go take a peek. I LOVE first layouts!

I will (post a link) if you tell me how! Anyway, the LO is in the Gallery now. It feels good to have it done!
Thanks again.

Here it is. Great layout! I used to do karate, I need to start going back after my baby hiatus: she's almost a year now! Was just about to take my brown belt test, I should have just done it. But got sidetracked selling our house.
To post a link, just copy the address from the layout window, then come here and paste it in!
Love the stripes you used, great work! Feels good to be done.
Glad the Quick Class was helpful to you. I also teach a beginner PS class, $20 for 4 weeks, very thorough, designed as a follow up to the tutorial you just followed.

So glad you did it, EXCELLENT job! Yay, feels good, doesn't it?!
