Been lurking around DSP, considering joining this challenge? Need a little help motivating yourself to participate? In order to discover some of the wonderful benefits of making a Faithbook, check out the attachment below (sorry, it's a zip file but I had it as a PDF and the site doesn't allow us to attach PDFs).

Need a little more incentive? Everyone who participates in this month's challenge will receive a freebie Word Art set I created that you can use in your Faithbook. See what it looks like here:

A Parent's Prayer Word Art (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=72380&limit=last7)

If you are just joining this challenge, WELCOME! I highly suggest that you make the pages from our first two challenges because they are essential to your Faithbook. You can read about them in the original Faithbook Thread (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6325&highlight=faithbook).
(The third challenge is important too...but not as essential.)

Let me reiterate that all are welcome to participate. I'm a Christian so this challenge undoubtedly has a Christian slant but people of all faiths and belief systems are WARMLY WELCOME! Recording your journey is also important (the Why Make a Faithbook document is aimed at Christians because I created it for a class at my church). Please modify the challenges as necessary to apply to your spiritual journey.

And now...on to this month's challenge...

Describe a time you heard God's voice (perhaps he "spoke" to you through scripture, another person, worship, a church service, a dream, etc.).

Consider questions such as: What were the circumstances? What did he tell you? How did you know it was God speaking? Take this opportunity to really think through how God does/has spoken to you and try to describe it in as much detail as possible. It may be challenging to put this into words...but that's why we call this a challenge! :)

Post your pages in the Faithbook Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=1120)

Have fun! I look forward to seeing everyone's pages.

This is perfect! It will tie in wonderfully with a Bible study I just started that concentrates on journalling your faith. I can't wait to do the assignments, and also to upload some pages I've done on my own based on my Bible study. Thanks, Tara!

I finally finished this LO. There's not much to it, but I took me awhile to get the placement just right on the letterings. This is something that means the world to me!

God spoke to me through this poem when I needed to be reminded of His grace.

Hi everyone- I was so excited to see a faith based group on the site. I am just getting into digital scrapbooking and am doing as much as I can to learn as fast as possible.

When I posted my signature with scripture I wasn't sure if I would ruffle any feathers. Glad too see others doing that too.

Everyones work in the gallery looks so good. What a joy to read how God is working in our lives. I am doing a great study right now using "Waking the Dead" by John Eldredge. It is awesome.

Too catch up with you all I need to do the following, correct?
1. 10 things I Appreciate/Like about God.
2. Story of My Baptism
3. Story of How I Became a Christian

Then post LO to the Faith Gallery. Do you have live chats ever?

Look forward to seeing more Faith LO. God Bless-Jennyrae

Wow! You guys are so busy making your layouts that I better hurry up and figure out how to host my freebie so I can send you all the link! It is not first on my to do list right now but I will get it done!!! Glad to see so many new people participating. This is such fun!!!

Yep Jennyrae, you got it right! Those are the last three challenges and then, of course, there is this month's challenge too. We've never had a live chat...something to consider, I guess!! Welcome!

Have a great week everyone!

I was just wondering if there will be a new challenge for the month of February or March? Haven't seen much activity here since January!

Since I posted the last challenge near the end of Jan. I'll be posting the Feb. one about the same time. This happened accidentally but since there are so many contests and challenges that begin at the beginning of the month, I figured we'll keep this one at the end. And don't worry...everyone who has posted will get their word art link...I think I know how to do it now!!!

I've asked Liz to reorganize the gallery and forum to showcase the Album Challenges we have going on. I've asked her to move your threads and gallery so people can see them with the other album challenges. :)

btw - Stacey Stehley and I are working on some fun stuff for this challenge because we love it so much!
