Okay ladies,
Once again I need your help. My LO isn't done yet, but it's the basic feel of it. I'm a beginner and always have such a hard time with font. I just don't know how to make it "pop". Everytime I add font to my LO, I feel like it's missing something. It always looks so plain.... I guess it's my inexperience. Is there anyone who could help me out. I need to know how to make the word "beauties" really show up. I'm using Edwardian script font because I wanted the look of this font for that word. But if you have any other suggestions, feel free to share. I'm always open to cc... Thanks again! :)

I think you've got a really good start here - I like it so far. I would just suggest a couple of things - you might try making the word "beauties" a little darker and a little bigger. You might also try putting the word on another paper that is a little more solid than the stripe and layering that onto the stripe - does that make sense? I'm not sure I'm explaining what I mean very well, but have it look like you printed the word on another sheet of paper and attached it to the background. If you do that, you could also edge that layer to make it stand out a little bit more - and then don't forget the drop shadow.

A good start and the pic is wonderful, a treasure.
I agree with Cheryl especially about the drop shadow and solid paper. That is one thing i have learned during my not so long stay here.

I'm going to suggest something totally different. Take the two words, exactly the way they are now and put both of them above the photo. Move the photo down.
What I am suggesting you do is turn the two words into word art. You've got a great beginning for it. You might need to make the word Beauty bigger, or darker, but you won't know until you see how they look nested together.
The layer for the word Beauty should be under the layers for the letters in Sleeping. Then just move it around until it feels right.

Okay,
So I tried matting the word beauties with a background, but it wasn't giving me what I wanted. So I tried Starling's suggestion. I think I've got it. I think this is pretty much the finished product. But I'm not sure. I feel it's still missing something. What do you think? Does it need anything else? How about the word art? Thanks again!

I think it looks great now! Starling's suggestion was perfect for this.

YES!!! That was what I thought was going to happen if you put the two words together. It is beautiful!
