ploppers vs kits

Okay, reading another thread and I am stumped, what is a plopper, and I think I can get a kit? maybe it is software you can move different items in such as clip art?

Help for this newbie, please. :)

Ploppers are flat, can't move the page elements around. It's just like buying a piece of scrapbook paper and pasting your photos on. Great for fast pages, very cheap!

Kits have everything in separate graphic files. You can copy them onto your layout as you like.
