SHAZZ!! Yes! I saw the awesome layout in CK with Pollyana! Man, I just about PEED in my PANTS!!!!! It was even more exciting than any of the times my layouts have been published because it was such a surprise!!! WHAT A RUSH! We need to come up with a contest or prize for using a DSP FONT in your published layouts (although I don't need to pee my pants in the pickup lane at my daughter's school while waiting for her to come out and browsing the latest ck!!!!!!!)..........

Suzanne, you are SO funny. I have to say that DSP fonts are my absolute favorites. I don't have many layouts where I haven't used one or two. I think DSP Jena is my favorite journaling font, but a very close second is DSP Amber. What is so cool is being in Club Digital and getting a new Suzanne Walker font every month!! Keep 'em comin'!

Suzanne, You have every digital scrapbooking magazine, right??!!!????!! HA! I just saw a layout in Digital Scrapbooking Magazine Winter/Spring 2006, pg49, that says Beautiful Girl. I want that font! I don't see it under your stuff here unless it is in a pack or something. Does this ring a bell? Really pretty layout if you haven't seen it!

I am glad to be here. I have just been accepted. However, I am sending this expensive Dell computer back. I have been on the phone with tech support nearly every day.
I will either use my old one or go get a less expensive one. I had the best of everything put on this computer, and it does nothing but cause me trouble.
I have looked around the site, sorta, but I didn't see the fonts. Will you email me and tell me where to find them.
I have lots of fonts that I have transferred to my external hard drive. When I get another computer up and running, I will share some with you.
Does anyone have the font: KellyAnnGothic?
Have a good night,
Sandy

Hello all. I am pretty new to scrapbooking. I am trying to figure out how to load fonts to my computer so I can use. I looked at the tutorial on here, but I have no idea what a "font thing" is so I am totally lost. Can anybody please help me!!!
here's a new tutorial for installing fonts using just Windows
http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/installingfonts.shtml
The Font Thing is just a font organizer, allows you to preview installed fonts AND uninstalled fonts so you can choose which you want, and allows you to put them in different categories, etc. I use a font organizer called Linotype Font Explorer X.
Hey, and just in case you didn't know, I have a free font here, DSP Rough 'n' Ready
http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=223376
and a free font called DSU Exclusive included in my DSU 130 Intro to PSP course. I'm working on fonts for the other Intro courses also, DSU 110 and 160.

I used to have the font thing. But I found that making a folder in My Documents and putting subfolders in it for different types of fonts makes finding them a lot easier. Just go to your font folder, minimize the fonts you want to use, then they will be in the PSP that you choose to use. As long as they are on the task bar at the bottom of your screen, you will have them in your PSP.

I down loaded "The Font-Thing" and extracted it into a folder and can not get it to open. What am I doing wrong? I am trying to learn about digital scrap booking. I am a scraper, but have never done digital and am blown away by all the info! Help!
