:) I am celebrating because I am hosting a chat tonight (10pm EST) about COLOR! I love creating and finding color combinations so I am excited!

:p Today begins the month-long Chinese festival, Ch'ing Ming. This is one of three traditional rituals which honor the dead, one's ancestors (how fitting for us scrapbookers). Blessings will abound for those who honor their ancestors during this time, often by cleaning the grave and leaving flowers and food. This is a party, not a somber event.

I am celebrating today because last night was the first time in over three and a half years I had NO CHILDREN in my room at night! :D

Shelby has been in my bed almost since birth and Ella's crib was moved from my room to her own room last month. Shelby had mentioned a few days ago that she may be ready to sleep in her "big girl bed" (that we bought for her A YEAR AGO!) so my dh and I jumped on that and started telling the grandparents to pump it when they talked to her on the phone. IT WORKED! So glad to have let her do it on her own but also RELIEVED to have my dh back with me! He's been sleeping *wherever* for 3+ years...

Cross your fingers for me that this is just the start of it. My heart is a bit sad she's growing up but the rest my body will appreciate the rest and the *adult* company... :)

I'm celebrating today becaue I've almost completed my first digital collage thanks to Jill's lesson Saturday morning (for most Friday night?) - hope to post it tomorrow - Yay!
& we are now just a few days off a caravanning weekend over the wonderful days of Easter - for us South Africans the weekend has been made longer as we are having elections on Wednesday (so a public holiday) - take Tuesday off & we have a 5 day break! - another Yay!

I am celebrating because my wonderful DH finished the wainscoting in our living room and kitchen and it looks AWESOME!!!!!!! today I am going to celebrate b/c the new carpet is coming!!! ::::happy dance::::
