As a beginner, I find I struggle the most with what type of font/alpha to use for my titles. (you'd think it would be journaling, but that comes to me naturally) I can usually put together my LO pretty well, but when it comes time to add my title, I'm at a loss on how I should put it together.

For example, for this LO I want to use the title "Chubby Cheeks". I think I want to put the word "chubby" on the top and the workd "cheeks" on the bottom. I tried the chipboard letters, but I wasn't quite sure I liked the look of them. I also thought about putting both "C's" in different font or alpha that the rest of the word. But I'm still not sure of what I want to do. I know I want it to look fun. Any suggestions? I want this LO to look good. I need help!

p.s. I'm using the "Spreading Sunshine" kit and also PSE4.

Thanks,
Renee

Have you tried using alphas???? For me when I'm having trouble with Large Words in my layouts...alphas seem to fix it. Usually because they're already complete they dont need any tweaking or editing.

Alphas

Here's an example this is an alpha i had by michelle underwood i recolored it to make it work with your color scheme.http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/wwwebgurlie/chubby-cheeks.jpg

Does that seem to work for you???? It's not too elaborate but was pretty easy and seems to complete it. atleast to me

That's exactly what I was looking for! Can you tell me where I can get that alpha?

Without seeming to be tooting my own horn - my custom colour chipboard alpha from the store which Liz mentioned would be perfect as you can pick any paper or colour from your layout to use with it - entirely customisable and comes in several styles - including fat circles and stencils - so you could make the circle for the title and the letter for the rest of the word
http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_20&products_id=1783 is the alpha and http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1831 is the stencil for the thinner letters, http://store.digitalscrapbookplace.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1830 is the fat circle alpha with both stencil and letter included
Here is a layout I did using the fat circle alpha and stencil - http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=62403

Thanks for all your help ladies... Lauren, I had previously bought all of your chip board alphas about a month ago for another project. I decided to try my hand at it again. Here's the finished product:http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=76136&cat=500&ppuser=35814

What do you think?

Thanks again. I know I can always rely on your help! :)
