I did this layout a couple of weeks ago, and I just don't like it much. I was hoping to get some input. Thanks!

I'd be curious to hear what you don't like about it. My thought: It's a WONDERFUL photo and I like the journaling, but it took me a moment to realize her face was reflected in the teapot. Just now, as I'm typing this, I see the same photo in your signature and immediately my eye is drawn to her face on the teapot, so I think that the photo might be getting overwhelmed by the LO. What if you made the photo bigger and the journaling smaller? And put a good strong matte around the photo to make sure your eye goes there first... ?

Gorgeous photo, I really like how you have arranged everything. What I feel it needs is to add a bit of a contrast or darker colour, the pink and yellow is a bit too much the same sort of saturation and lacks zing. And maybe highlight the title more.

I loved the picture which was so cute! Maybe you could make the journaling a little smaller and more of a contrast. It blended in with the background and made it a little difficult to read.

I've made some changes, but I'm still not thrilled.

I think this is really good now!! The darker font colour makes a big difference.

This is definitely better, my eye goes right to her face on the tea kettle now. I wonder if there's a challenge with the photo being the same shape as the 12x12 lo. What if you angled the photo and angled a mat behind it? Perhaps use the circle shape somehow in your journaling, with a tag or something, to tie it all together? (BTW, if this is too much CC, feel free to tell me to can it!)

I really like it alot...i did like the position of the photo the first time...have you tried adding a white border to the photo??? or even one of the colors from the layout????

Thanks everyone for your help, I'm pretty happy with it now. There's just one little adjustment I need to make to the reflection.

Here it is. http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=77306&cat=500&ppuser=43022

It's quite different now!
