Hi. I d/l some of the Valentine's brushes, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to use them. I have them saved in Photoshop, but whenever I go to load them, they don't show up. Can someone help me please!:D

What version of Photoshop are you using ?
Where did you save the ABR file ? Photoshop will first look in it's default location, but then you can browse to any folder you've saved your brushes in.
The default location for brushes is in under Photoshop\Presets

Photoshop 7.0 is the one I'm using. I have the brushes saved in the Presets under brushes, where all the default brushes are. I can see the names of the ones I've saved when I open Photoshop, but when I click on them, they don't show up in the brushes palette. Does this make sense?

Yes, it makes sense - if the brushes you are trying to use were made with Photoshop CS or CS2. Unfortunately those are not backwards compatible with 7.0. You should get an error message though.
I just looked at the valentine freebies and they were made in PSCS, so they won't work in 7. However, if you'd like, I can convert them for you if you'd like. PM me with your email, I've got PS 7 at home.

LynnMarie,
Making a brush is pretty simple, but I'll point you to an excellent tutorial on brushes, which includes how to make them: http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/brush7/intro/brush7.htm
