Okay, realize that I'm very new to digital scrapbooking and also "challenged", "slow", etc. (you get the picture)! I have a couple of questions and please stay in your seat, don't fall off your chair laughing :) ! The kits that can be purchased list items as if you were getting each piece to adhere to a piece of paper. Now obviously, since this is digital you don't do that. Please explain that to me! Also, I scrap 12 X 12. I don't have a wide carriage printer so am I SOL? Is my only option to bit the bullet, rob a bank and get a new printer or is there other options? The work I'm seeing on this site is absolutely fantastic. I did the freebie class for beginners. I could do it. I really want to understand layers and manipulating fonts better, doing cool backgrounds, I guess pretty much everything. What is the best class to start with? I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. I can't take August classes but want to take classes in late September or October (coaching duties will be over then). Thank you so much for your replies.

You're so funny!

1. The class you want is DSU 105, Intro to PSE. You're in luck as it will make its debut in September!

2. Either buy a wide printer or pay the mucho $ to have it printed 12x12 at Kinko's or similar. Or, print 11x11 or 10x10 and mount on 12x12 carstock to get a 1" border all around. Those options are a LOT cheaper. Or print 8x8 at home.

3. Kits: each file is opened, then you use the Move Tool to drag and drop each element on your new document that becomes your layout. All covered in the class too

Glad you're having fun! And you're NOT slow! I'm glad I can't go back to read all my newbie questions! :o
