You should definately get it repaired, digital cameras are quite fragile & you could make a bigger job for yourself as well as a bigger bill !!! Have you got any kind of insurance cover on the camera, such as accidental damage? If not I would highly recommend getting this cover for any camera in the future especially digital as repairs can be very costly if your not insured!!

I wish you well,

Emma.

Hey, Marcee, girl! Yeah, take it someplace to get it repaired...... I tried fixing one that broke and it's now costing $300 to repair (when it might have been a much simpler repair had I not messed with it.......)! AAAAACK!

BUMMER on the DP - I totally can relate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arch! Hope it's a cheap and quick fix for you!!!

HUGS!!! Miss you!

I would definitely check out your warranty and check with the manufacturer and/or then bring to a camera repair shop. It really will depend on how far the Pepsi got in. I know my brother-in-law (runs a camera repair shop in MN) says it can be harder to fix and some replacement parts are more expensive for digital cameras. Go to someone who knows what they are doing and make sure you get an estimate first.

Marcee I think you might find that accidental damage isn't covered by a standard manufacturers warranty, so I hope that this repair job won't be too expensive, keeping my fingers crossed for ya!
