Plus, I've had problems with spyware being installed onto my computer at times while using their site. Shameful!!

:) I'm aware of that clause , and I only use PB for images that I dont mind being freely used. I think the chances of them interfering with your images is probably very slim.

Slim or not its not ethical :)

:( I totally agree , and I think many users will quit or use it less , which is such a pity , 'cos it's such a useful site :( It's a horrible thing to do.

Yep it is a pity cause it was so easy to use, but I will still use it for storing sig tags and the likes :)

I think it's possible that PB are just covering themselves for all eventualities. The pics there have always been usable and savable if you have a link , and I guess they dont want to be held responsible. Just use it wisely.

I am off to be sure all of my images are off that I dont want to share with the world. :) Thanks for sharing that. I usually only post graphic related stuff there anyway. It should be against the law to use peoples stuff without their knowledge. I will definitely be sure never to keep my personal family photos there.

I only use it for my blog backgrounds & things I am going to sell on eBay. if they want to distribute some badly lit photos of Lucent Ascend Max 6000 router they are welcome to. :D

Well, Photobucket must have been swamped with massive amounts of complaints because they again updated their TOU as of yesterday - and they posted on another site that they did so in response to member feedback so as to clear up any misunderstandings.

I don't know if I can link it here? Well, if not, feel free to delete my link!

:) Excellent. That makes more sense. They cant be held responsible for what happens to your stuff if you make public or post a link anywhere. Fair do's for the quick response!
