William Wegman Exhibit

I'm so excited--the William Wegman exhibit has come to a local museum. :D Are any of you familiar with Wegman's work? He's the one who photographs his Weimeraner dogs in unusual poses. In the last several years, he's also started doing puppies. You may have seen his calendars.

His photos, and the way those dogs pose for him, are just incredible.

Oh I love him!! Those dogs used to be a segment on one of Tate's toddler shows... was it Sesasme Street??

Right, Tina! That's the one. He also once collaborated with someone on some editions of classic fairy tales illustrated with photos of the dogs, like Cinderella and one or two others--think Weimaraners in long curly wigs and eyelashes! :D
