I was just wondering if any of you have used this? It is alot cheaper then PS or PSP. Does the price indicated that it's not as good?
HP CSA is a layout program, not one for elment creation. You can do that in PS and PSP :)
If you are planning to use page kits, and not create your own elements, HP is great. We have a tutorial on using it here:

Great! I don't make my own. I will gladly be using all the talent of everyone else!

I have only dabbled in HP CSA. Like Tina said, it's a layout program. It's wonderful for creating layouts. You will not be able to modify any elements.

Can you easily save to VCD format from HP Creative Assistant .. I want to get this for my Mom so she can create CD's to share her pictures on. Everything that I have read appears more for 'printing' ... with HP CA .. what about easy slideshows on the computer and on DVD?

CSA doesn't do slideshows as a program, but you can certainly burn all the jpgs you export from CSA to a CD which will then play in DVD players. and you can find CSA right in our shop! it's a great program for quick layouts and super easy to use! :)
