I figured out how to scan a 12x12 lo and stitch it together but when I go to e-mail it to my friends...it's HUGE! It automatically saves it under "my pictures" as a jpeg just like the rest but I don't know why the file is so big. Please help

I'm assuming you are scanning it at a high resolution? To send over email for others to view (and not print it themselves) you'll need a photo editing program. There are tons of programs out there. What programs do you have?
You'll need to reduce the resolution to 72ppi (pixels per inch) and you can reduce the size down to probably 6"x6" (432pixels).

I have PSP (which I love) and Adobe PS which is what I used to "stitch" the pages together because it was a 12x12 and my scanner is only 8.5" wide. Should I re-scan and change the resolution? Thanks for replying!

I don't know PSP, so I'll give you instructions for PS.

Go into PS and open up your stitched scrapbook page. Go up to edit>image size. In order to print well it needs to be ateast 200 ppi. Change the resolution to 72ppi and 6"x6" (432pixelsx432pixels). Save as .jpg and adjust the compression down until it is less than 125 K (which you would need to post on any sites like this one).

Let me know if you have any problems.

Here's a resizing tutorial for PSP. I use all my web-size layouts for emailing and posting to DSP.

Just curious: What do you mean by "stitch together?" What process are you using in PS to do it? PhotoMerge?
