you might just note that most companies pay for templates they will use in their software and then profit from. :)

Yikes! Read the fine print before submitting. Only the top three get any sort of prize and you are signing away all intellectual property rights to your work simply by submitting. That might be okay to some people, but just be aware.

Yes, reading the "fine print" on this I'd certainly NOT be tempted to enter even if I were a US resident - they want a lot for very little in my opinion!
