Cannot connect to DSP through Firefox browser

I have been trying for weeks now to access DSP using Firefox, and it just tries and tries to load. Finally I got the idea today to try a different browser (Safari) and am able to connect. Anyone know why Firefox cannot connect??

I use Firefox and it works ok for me Paula, sorry don't know why it won't work for you....maybe something to do with your firewall settings? or something along those lines.

I just loaded Firefox and haven't had any problems!

I hope someone can answer this for you....(I asked my "expert" = my 16 year old son and he didn't know)....but I've been using Firefox for almost a year and have never had a problem getting onto DSP.

i hate to add a ditto but yeah it's worked wonderfully for me.

i use it exclusively here too. check your firewall, antivirus, popup blockers, ad blockers, ask your isp... and if no luck email help@dsplace.com and customer service will work on it! sorry! :)

Are you using a Mac or a PC? It ought to work either way, but it'll give us some idea of where to test.

I use a Mac. My husband (who is a computer guru) has no idea why it is not working. Then again, he cannot figure out why OrangeSue and my LO are interchanging. EVery other browser is working but Firefox (which I use exclusively too, except now I am also using Safari to access DSP).

are you using a short cut or manually typing in www.digitalscrapbookplace.com Double check the address...the other day at work I had someone change a link in our system and they had www..xyz.com and no one could get to the site....and they were calling the people we work with saying something is wrong with the site...but i was like um people that's not the right address.

I hope it something as simple as that.

i have tried both www.digitalscrapbookplace.com as well as lvg4him.digitalscrapbookplace.com. Still not working.

BUT on the bright side, my LO that was mixed up with OrangeSue's is now NORMAL! I got my layout and my thumbnail. :D

I agree with Margie- Check firewall , settings, popup blockers, adblockers-Internet filter

Sometimes just *starting over*- clear everything.....
