I have a portrait sb layout, just a close up of my daughter. there's no story, no theme, just her smile, just because. How do you title these types of shots? What words or phrase or quote could I use on a no-reason page like this?

If you mean to add words to the layout I'd say just don't! Let the picture speak for itself! If you mean for titling it when you add it to your gallery then just what comes to your mind when you look at it? Angel? Something like that?

I always put the age and sometimes what their favorite things are at that age.

I take alot of these pictures (just because I felt like taking pictures ones) and then use them to tell a story of her/or him at this age or just add a wordart that reminds me of her or some of that journaling that you don't have pictures for. I agree you can also leave them without anything but my pages usually don't feel complete when I do that. Can't wait to see the picture.

Here are some examples
I am very sad (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=114161&cat=500&ppuser=20407) This wasn't even taken the same day as the story.
So thankful (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=135893&cat=500&ppuser=20407)

I've seen layouts with titles that just say - That Smile; Those Eyes, Angel Face .... those kinds of titles can be quite effective - or none at all, just a date in the corner. Can't wait to see it!
