Suggestion for Embellishments??

I am trying to put together a page set of two pages. The paper is kind of yellowey vintagey golds and reds in victorian wallpapery prints. The subject matter is my daughter's ultrasound picture and her parents (aka me & her bio-dad). I've got some ribbons, tags, and photo corners, etc, but I have some blank space that I would like to put some little doo-dad in and I am not sure what. All I know is that I don't want any buttons or flowers.
ANy suggestions?? I have room for four button-sized deals on one page and space for two on the other page.

all i have ready are the papers. Everything else is still a sketch on the back of one of my day-to-day calendar pages.
But here's the papers. Most of the patterns come from egg9700.deviantart.com (my favorite place for fill patterns). Feel free to give me some feedback on how the papers look/match. I like them all but I am not sure how well they go together.
The photo corners are going to be plain brown with a leather or alligatory type pattern and the ribbon is going to be a plain satin ribbon (most likely the reddish colour) and all three photomats are going to be a reddish colour as well (or should they be the golden colour?)
Any ideas of props, fillers, embellishments that I can add to pages like these?

a patchwork alpha might be nice...something kind of home made looking ...that's my suggestion.

Those are very pretty papers! How about some kind of celtic knot? Most of those have meanings such as a triple spiral one that symbolizes pregnancy (since your layout focuses on your ultrasound). Also, you could do a charm bracelet chain and attach some "charms" that have special meaning to you. Or maybe some of those bronzed baby booties would look nice. If you wanted to include some journaling, you could add a grungy tag tied with some gold ribbon.

The papers are beautiful, I feel some gold metallic alphas would suit them. :)
