Very cool blinkie.
A quick question - how do I get my blinkies to sit beside each other?
Lauren

Dont leave a space between the coding ( I Just worked that out myself)

This blinkie is way cool!! I'll delete some stuff from my siggy so I can make room for it!! Thanks, Lauren! That was very fast work!
Added: Wow, Lauren - I didn't know you had a BOAT! in one of your kits..! That's so awesome!

Fiona, may I suggest you leave a space ("spacebar" space, not "enter" space) so that your blinkies won't be 'stuck' together...

This blinkie is excellent!
I find it easiest to just right click on the blinkie, select (highlight) its URL address in the properties, and then control+c (to copy).
Open your signature, click on the insert image (little yellow triangle/pyramid button) and paste (control+v) the properties ove the http: prompt. Then save your signature. Simple!

Thanks Mandy for your directions. I couldn't get it to work by typing in the code; not a very good typist, I guess. Thanks Lauren for the blinkie and all your beautiful kits. I really appreciate getting the add-ons to them.

The code i posted has some added extras in it-if you click on the mouse in my sig line it will take you to the Gimme more forum - !!- thats in the code but not in the properties - its fine to just have it as an image though !!!

Ok Lauren or someone can you speak slowly so I can read your lips? :D I tried typing in the Avatar URL just like you gave in your insructions but keep getting an "Invalid File" message. Now knowing that I'm on the short bus, can some please spell it out for me even more? My career may be computer programming but I work on the BIG central servers and this internet pc stuff is waaaaaaaay over my head!
Thank You!

Carla you and me both - you dont click on the insert image button - just in the signature html bit - paste that bit in making the changes i mentioned ( I had to make the changes cause if I typed in the code without all the bits in between it just bought up the avatar instead of the code!!!

Testing. I've tried typing in per Lauren's instructions.

The little red x box is all I get when I type it in. I've very carefully read & tried to follow the instructions, but I know I'm doing something wrong if everyone else can do it. I may have to go back to just having an avatar

Hi Bocca
Well I don't know if this will help you or not, seeings as how I'm challenged. This is what I have in my signature box:
url=http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=210][img]http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/freebies/blinkies/GIMME.gif[/img
I had to leave out some braces [ ] to get it to print as text here. Add a [ directly in front of the line with no space between it and the "u". Then add a ] directly behind the img. HTH
Take Care,

Thanks, Carlalee, that made it work. Evidently what I was copying from Lauren's post did not all paste to my signature. I had to add a few words. Now to learn how to put a few layouts on my signature & learn to type words for links. :D

Mine wasn't working either, but I copied Caralee's line and now it's great. Thanks Carlalee.

Yes the boat was in the add on pack for Old Man and the sea - that was one of my favourites!!

Thanks, Mandy. I just couldn't get it the other way. Maybe you could tell me how to get rid of the that shows at the top of my signature without changing the rest. I deleted something else and this showed up. Help!

How do I make my blinkies side by side instead of on top of each other?

Hi mrichar
To get your blinkies next to each other, go into your signature and delete the carriage return in between each blinkie. Just let the html code lines wrap from one line to the next. You can add a few spaces in between each blinkie to give them a little room. HTH
