Just wonder for those of you who do own one, which do you have and how you feel about it?

We just purchased an Epson R9100. So far we really love it. Great Quality, true to life colors. Will print up to 14" wide. takes either roll paper or singel sheets.
We have printed 13/ 8 X 10 and 1 11 X 14 and the ink cartridges are all still showing full.full. It is also FAST. We really wanted the more expinsive one, but for just starting out this one is GREAT.

I have a Cannon i9900. I love it. The prints are terrific, ink & paper costs are reasonable and the interface is very user friendly. The only downside to a Cannon is that they don't offer as many varieties of different types of paper in the wider format as Epson does.

I also have the Canon i9900 and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! My prints are gorgeous - and I love the 8 separate ink tanks that are transparent so you can actually SEE how much ink you've got left.

I do agree with Debb though on the paper issue. And I actually contacted Canon about this very issue - I told them about the digi scrapping community and how they are at a distinct disadvantage in this arena when compared to Epson. They seemed surprised at the huge numbers of digi scrapping community members. Hopefully they'll take this information into consideration.

I only use Canon paper with my printer, but I know of others who use other brands (such as Epson) with great results. I'm just too chicken so far.

I have the HP 9800 and love it! I wanted to get a printer with the individual color ink cartridges but it was out of my budget. I am still absolutely satisfied with this one--I just printed a digital album for my mom that was 90% photos (few digital elements) and I didnt even use a photo cartridge, just the regular colors, and the prints were so clear, sharp, and realistic, it was like I was there! :):):)

I have an HP deskjet 9650 and also love it! I don't think I could live without it! I also have printed lots of pages (don't know how many exactly) but I am still on the original ink cartriges that came with it, and I never even opened the "photo" cartrige, just use the regular tri color and everything is beautiful. Plus, I normally use just regular white card stock to print on and the photos are still perfect. I think its size capabilities are anything up to 13 x19.
