My name is Mary (as if you didn't know that from my username :D ).
I'm from TX, I have 2 precious little boys. I'm pretty new to the digital scrapbooking world but I'm already in love with it, I only wish I had more time to spend on it.
Also, I'm already in love with this place... friendly, full of all kinds of help & inspiration!!! :)

Hi Mary! Welcome to DSP! You sound just like me when I first started digi scrapping! I always did paper scrapping and when I finally started digital, BAM, I was hooked. DSP is the best place on the net! Try out the tutorials and maybe even take a few classes and there are all kinds of challenges and contest going on. Jump right in and HAVE FUN!

welcome from another texan. glad that you are enjoying it here.

can't wait to start seeing some of your work. I know the feeling about not having enough time to spend on it. all of my galleries have the old work in it. *sigh* I just don't have time with everything else going on.

Kristen... thanks! I'm certainly looking around, getting my fill of inspiration! :)

Lauren... thanks! I've posted a few more of my pages but they're pretty old ones, gotta upload some of my newer ones.

Carla... I'm definitely hooked!!! :) I'll have to check on the classes since I have Photoshop but I'm terrified of using it that's why I used my other program

Maggie... yep! I've been in TX more than half my life so I'm finally starting to think of myself as a Texan  Thanks for the welcome!

Stacy... thanks fellow texan! :) I need some new pages for sure! So, you're a webdesigner ah? I'm keeping up with a couple of websites for my boss & one of her friends, nothing fancy or too hard really.

Haven't had a lot of time to work on more pages :( I have some new pics from our latest Chicago trip (we just came back Thursday) that I'm dying to scrap so I hope I get a chance soon :)

I know the feeling about not having a lot of time.

I just got pictures today of my baby playing in the sprinkler for the first time. . . usually he screams when he gets wet (yet he loves the bath, just hates sprinklers and rain). . . but today he played and played so I just went and grabbed the camera.

I hope I find some time SOON!!! I've got so many other things to do.

Howdy from a fellow Texan now living in wonderful wild Wyoming! :p Yes! This is the absolutly best place on the web. Everyone is SUPER friendly and so so so helpful. I think that is because we were all *newbies* once. Please let us know if you have ANY questions any at all. You never know when your question will also help someone else. I look forward to seeing your layouts! :D :) :p

Stacey... awww, those are probably some super cute pics! I can't wait to see them on a l/o!! We went to the pool yesterday for the first time, it's so hot already and I'm definitely not ready for it... also my allegies are acting up like crazy and making my head feel all loopy

Stephani... thanks! I will definitely not be shy and ask if or more like when I get stuck :) I love friendly sites!!! So, how's Wyoming? Missing the heat yet? :)

Gotta go check the weekly challenge for this week though it might be kind of late to start a page this week.

I'm gonna try to upload my siggie here and see if it works...

Well, it kind of worked but now I can't add it to where the siggie goes :(
Any suggestions?

Mary did you just put the link in? Try putting at the front of the link and at the end. See if that works. If you already have that then I am not sure! :)

I don't miss the Texas heat but I do miss alot of things. I miss Six Flags, and Panchos, and Bluebell ice cream, and pecan trees, and oak trees, and just all trees in general :D, and blue bonnets, and backyard swimming pools, and the state fair of Texas, and the Dallas Cowboys (whom I still support with a vengence :D ), and What-a-Burger, and brick houses, and real bar-b-que, and real chicken fried steak, and of course all my family that still lives down there...LOL! :D Just a few things! LOL! :p
