Hello Everyone,
My name is Laura and I love to take pictures with my digital camera so digital scrapbooking is perfect for me. I love to babysit, I'm currently a nannying for twin 8 month olds and a 4 year old. I've always loved to scrapbook with paper but it was such a hassle getting everything out and have room to do so. I'm really excited to start digital scrapbooking!!

Welcome! It sounds like you have your hands full! I know exactly what you mean by not having room to paperscrap and it being a hassle to get everything out. That was one of my main reasons for going digi! It's good to have you here. Make sure you check out all the tutorials and sign up for the newsletter. Also, check the freebies gallery! Tons of really great stuff to get you started! There are so many wonderful classes to participate in too! Glad to see you and hope to see you around here alot!
Oh, yes! Computer scrapbooking is wonderful because you can use a copy of your original photo (keep the original safe), you can use the same kit many times and many ways (it never gets "used up"), and you can save and close without having to clean up any mess and open it the next time right where you left off! How cool is that? Be sure to read the "new to digital?" link at the top of the page - many questions will be answered there. And be sure to ask questions whenever you have any! Welcome! Glad you found DSP.

Laura, welcome to the wonderful world of digi scrapping and to dsp! Look forward to seeing your pages. Meanwhile, do take advantage of the fabulous tutorials at dsp, and of course, any questions just ask :)
you're going to love this! I was a nanny for a 6yo and 1yo twins right after high school, and I have lots of layouts with all my photos of them. They're all paper, and most of the prints are still in the box, LOL! My paper books are pretty bad...
Glad to have you at DSP! Have fun poking around, and holler with any questions. Be sure to do the First Page tutorial and read New to Digital. Welcome!
