Hello everyone,

My name is Rosi, I'm 39 and a single mother. My son Nigel is 16 and plays different musical instruments, is in chorus and studies Psychology.

I've been wanting to get into scraping for some time after a friend introduced me to it. Unfortunatley, she moved away before she could teach me anything and I didn't know anyone interested in scrapbooking. I tried it on my own but not knowing what to do I gave it up.

I didn't know it was possible to scrap online. I look forward to learning as much as possible from all you. I welcome all help, ideas, suggestions anyone has to give I'm gonna need them.

Thank you for pointing out the helpful links, I'll be sure to visit them. It's funny, I stumbled into this site by accident and am already in love. Can you imagine once I actually get started and have my first page done? LOL I fear I'm already addicted. LOL
My only concern is the few pages I have seen by members names, are all soo nice, I don't want to embarrass my self.

Thank you for welcoming me to the site. I believe I may end up thanking you again in time once my son sees the pictures by your name, they are fabulous. I've been wanting my son to join me and make his own scrapbook but he told it wouldn't happen in this life time. He thinks it's a girl thing, but I know he's going to love your pictures and the colors you used. I don't know if you'll understand me when I say they have great depth to them.
I hope I too will soon produce layouts as nice as yours, Abby, Kristen and everyone else here. Thank you,

Hi Rosi! No embarassment here! We all have to start someplace and this is the best place to start. I have only been digital scrapping for about 5 months and I can tell you...you could never be as embarassed as me when I started! This is the best group of folks you will find on the net and we are all willing to help you in any way that we can. Take a few classes if you are not real familiar with your program and another great way to learn is by joining in on the weekly and monthly challenges. If you see something that you like in the gallery, scrap lift it! Just dive in but most of all...Have Fun!
