Hi folks, I live in San Diego, CA. I never in my life dreamed I would do Scrapbooking!!! But..........I do love PSP and since I've been getting a little bored making tags, and needed to do something with all the digital pictures we take, this seemed appropriate.
I love making my own artwork from scratch, mainly just to see if I can!!!
I am retired as an account clerk from High School District and love playing on the computer in PSP8.
We have a lovely German Shepherd named Wiena and take pictures of her constantly, so you may see a lot of her in my pages.
Thank you for such a wonderful site, this is truly exciting for me!!

(I'm not real sure how the linking thing works, but thought I would try it, hope you can go to my page).

Welcome! I loved your layout. I am high school teacher from South Carolina but we visited San Diego about 3 years ago and loved it! It was so beautiful. I joined this site in January and am addicted to it! You will love it!

Welcome Ruth!
I too, never imagined I would be a scrapbooker and now I'm totally obsessed!! Check out the New to Digital link at the top of the page (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/Scrapping101/basics.shtml). And, then, try some of the tutorials (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/tutorials.shtml).
There are some great classes (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/classes.shtml) here as well that will give you SO many ideas on designing! I learned more from the classes here than I did working with my program for 5 years!
Now, I'm off to check at your first layout! Can't wait to see more from you!

my goodness, you're all so sweet, thank you so much for your warm welcome and comments.
I have been so busy the last couple of days just researching, looking around and getting totally absorbed in all there is to read and look at on this site, that I haven't been scrapping, although I have been doing some tuts and making 'embellishments'. (in PSP, I'm so into making tubes and giving them away, I wonder if that's something I can do here, or is it just the official 'designers' who can give things away???)
I'm not as quick at designing layouts, so it may be a few more days for me to get something else together.
thanks again, this is a wonderful group.
hugs,Ruth
