Hi guys I'm not sure where else to ask this question so I'll ask it here. I am using Photoshop elements 4. I have been using the brush tool quite happily until somehow it seems to have picked up a drop shadow. Does anyone know how to stop this. It is doing it on all of the brushes now. So instead of looking like a stamp, the stamps are coming out looking like cheesy elements. It's so ugly. Can anyone help??

Have you checked the layer you are painting on does not have a style?
If it does I would clear the style, and see if that helps.

another thing to check would be to see if your airbrush option is checked or not (I think that might give the appearance of a drop shadow too)

Oh, ok guys, these both are worthy of checking into. So Jane, if it does have a style (which it might, it was a premade album page), how do I turn the style off?? And thanks so much for the help guys.

Right click on the little F and select clear style.
