OK, Scrappers! Let's show our patriotic colors! In honor of Memorial Day, post a reply in this thread showing off any layouts you have done, past or present, that show the colors of our flag. We also want to see your military layouts too! I will try to post to this thread with instructions on how to put a clickable thumbnail in your post like I did with my two patriotic layouts below.
Happy Memorial Day!!!

Here's the code to make an image clickable.
For YOUR IMAGE LINK, use the address of the thumbnail of the layout you want to share.
For YOUR LINK, use the link to the page that shows your LO full-sized

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. This is also my Wedding Anniversary. LOL We got married on Memorial Weekend because me DH worked for the Federal Goverenment and got a long weekend. Being a new employe and having to take leave without pay that was a big plus for us. I also graduated from college the day before.

Thank you thank you for the spur to do this layout -- I've needed to do it for a long time! This is my Grandpa, he served in WWII as a Navy Medic.

Here's a layout (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=72889&cat=500&ppuser=17857)that I did featuring my neighbor's grandson. Unfortunately, I can't find the original .psd file to resave it at a higher level. I covered everyone's faces with a blob to protect their identities.
There's an interesting story behind this layout. I had asked her for pictures of him during boot camp and at his graduation from Paris Island. She sent me the pictures, but I couldn't come up with an idea for the layout. Then one night a friend sent me a bunch of quotes attributed to President Reagan. One of them just jumped out at me, and the layout quickly fell into place. The quote was "Some people spend a lifetime wondering if they made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem."
As a gift to my neighbor and her daughter (the Marine's mom), I printed out and framed the layout. Then, when he returned from Iraq this spring, I also had it made into a t-shirt for my neighbor to wear.

Here is one I recently did of my youngest son when he was a baby:

And this one, though not red, white & blue is one I did for a Vetern's Day challenge last year. It seems appropriate for this too:
