I already purchased the Puzzle 2 Quick Click so I'm posting a layout I made using another of Kim's kits. The change makes if difficult for me to participate on a regular basis now so I will participate now when I can. I just have to do it the way that is best for me.

Here's the layout with the new quick click. I really do like these templates a lot.

Okay, here's mine. My daughter actually did this layout as a paper layout. She's 7 and quite the paper scrapbooker. I was surprised by her creativity and her eye for colors and depth. She got quite a kick out of me turning it into a digital layout!

Hereis my layout using Mocha Memories and the Puzzled2 Quick Click. Rotating the page on the salmon background was an accident but I liked the effect so I decided to keep it.

I thought we needed to do two separate layouts, one with Mocha Memories and one with Puzzled, in order to get two posting bonuses, so here are mine.

I really struggled with the puzzled quick click. I know there's a better way and after I catch my breath I'm going to that thread and see if I can figure it out.

Hey Maureen, :) We changed to use the freebie and the kit together (one layout) to get a bonus. :) They turned out awesome! :)

Yes, Maureen, I found the puzzled one a bit difficult to do too. I would make a selection of the puzzle piece I wanted to fill, maneuver it over to the place on the puzzle that was the photo, copy that, move it back to the puzzle piece and try and get it to fit. It's even hard to describe :-) I thought there must be an easier way.

If anyone knows an easier way, please let me know. :-)

I did the same thing with the puzzle pieces too! I copied the puzzle piece QC layer, moved it, made my piece, deleted the QC layer and then copied the same QC layer again to see where to move the piece back to and then deleted that second QC layer. That explanation is probably not so clear, but.... :)

Squeaking in at the end with the layout using the Mocha Memories. Got the puzzle in right away but this took me a while. Here's my little grandson decked out in grandma's knitting project. I made the whole set up as I went along like my grandmother did. She couldn't use patterns and I didn't have one. Which is why his has gorilla length sleeves on the sweater!

Looks like I goofed. It was supposed to be one layout with both products not two layouts using each one. So after PS locked up on me, I finally got it done. Same photo of William and the sweater set.

I think I did it even a harder way. I moved the QC puzzle pieces and rotated them to the place on the photo I wanted to copy and then moved and rotated the new pieces back to their final place.

Should we be keeping the white QC layers in the final? It seems like some of them add some drop shadow look but I'm not sure if they should be kept or deleted/turned off.

Hey Maureen,

Actually, I think your way might be easier. I'll have to try it next time.

I kept the white pieces there... ?

LOL Maureen...I did it that way too..somebody needs to explain the QUICK in QCs for me !! But then I take an age to do anything ..so was'nt too surprised it took me forever ! I started deleting the white pieces but then thought it looked better with them there as it seemed to give the puzzle piece a bit more definition ? I dunno ..hoping they'll click soon ..ha ha !!

Maureen - In most of the QCs I used before, I don't think it was necessary to keep the original QC layers, but in the puzzled one, I thought that some of the shadowing of the puzzle pieces and depth on the corner pieces came from leaving the white layers. I can't remember for certain, but I think I merged the white layer with the paper layer (or photo piece) on those that I wanted to retain both. That way I only had 1 layer remaining for each "piece".

I actually keep all the layers?? Maybe that's wrong...but especially for the puzzled one...it was one of the toughest quick clicks i've worked with. the gray layer you use to cut your photo but the clear layer with the lines of the pieces you want ontop of your photo so you can get the edges clearly defined.

Well !! I feel a bit better if LIZ found it tough !! It was my first one and I was sort of wondering if I was missing some brain cells for not sussing it out that easily !! Penny very slowly dropping re the clear layer ..thanks for that clever QCer !

It may have been a difficult QC, but impossible to do on my own...me thinks :-) Loved it!
