Austin, TX or nearby?

I already introduced myself as a Texan girl. I'm actually just north of Austin and would love to see about starting a get-together with other Digital Scrappers. All I can find around me currently are paper scrapbook groups. Nothing really against them. I love the company when I scrap, and my hubby loves to see me take my projects out of the house!, but I really couldn't care too much about the unveiling of a new line of scissors or glue. I want a group who care about new brushes for photo shop or in person tutorials!

It'll be rough to drag your computer around, but if we're talking laptops...well, I've got a large dining room table and plenty of outlets. Is there anyone else interested?

Hi there...

I am in Leander (not to far from you). Unfortunately, I am currently using a desktop and am brand new to digital scrapbooking (today was actually my first posts). I am trying it out (I am one of those - paper scrappers) to see how I like it. How long have you been do it? What verison of PS are you using?

I'm still new too, so if we could find someone more experienced to help tutor us, that'd be great. If not...we can definitely sit around, get new ideas, scrap, and drink some wine. And the good thing about digital...if you get too tipsy and cut off someone's head in a photo, you can "undo". Can't do that on paper!

LOL well I am in the Houston area too, so a little far for a crop but I do have a laptop. . . . *scratching head* It would be fun, but alas not going to happen any time soon though. I am actually heading up to the Round Rock area soon for a karate tournament, but won't know the details until closer too the date.

I'm in the Harker Heights/Killeen area - and I have a laptop! I just found the site and haven't bought software yet though. I use a Mac and I am not sure what would be best yet. Any ideas?

We've got friends over there and we've been there for Thanksgiving in 2004. We had a great time and we're coming back this summer in august/september.
I wonder if you could give me some advise where to find scrapbookstores in Houston.

Hi, I've been out of the scene for a LONG time but I think I might have a minute or two a day to check in more often! I'm in CP just N or Austin and VERY close to Leander (I live in North CP). I don't scrap much but I want to get back into it. I just signed up for a photography course in Sep so we'll see how that goes! I do own a laptop so I could maybe do a girl's night out or a play date with someone at their home or mine (my small kids are 2.5 and 4.5 and I'm a SAHM so days would be nice). I use PSPX or Photoshop CS2 which I'm in the beginning stages of learning but I guess I do well with it so far. So anyone with lots of experience with PS I'd love to visit you if you live near by!!!!!!

Ohh, I forgot to ask, TJH186,

what part of RR do you live in? I'm off of 1431 and 183 in CP. I'm hoping you're in NW RR? And, are you looking for people with or without kiddos? Days good for ya? With two little ones, it important to know if kids are something you want playing in your home.
