At our first chat I will be introducing my pretty new kit, Blossom Bower - it is not in the store yet, waiting hopefully :) so I have attached a preview for you to see. All those who attend the chat will get the add-on link free!

My first project with my new kit is to make a Gratitude Album - anyone who watches Oprah will be familiar with the concept of a Gratidude Journal, how wonderful for scrapbookers to be able to make one in picture form :) Come along to the chat to find out more - how you can help me with my next project and win more :)

I'm thrilled so many of you plan on coming, look forward to seeing you. For those who cannot attend, yes, I do understand the time issue, but as you realize, working with the world and all its times it is impossible to get a time which suits everyone........
What I though, maybe we could run the chat and a challenge in the forum? with any luck we will have an "official" sub-forum soon :)

I am really looking forward to this new chat. I hope I don't oversleep! I know it will be 11:00 EST (my timezone LOL) but I am a night owl and sometimes don't get to bed until 4 or 5 AM.....Going on 2 AM now...LOL. I should probably go to bed...but scrapping is just to magnetic!

Sounds like great fun and I love the preview but I think it's 3am here so I won't be attending - for some strange reason. I'm not quite as dedicated as you Meryl - I don't get up that early for scrapping! :)

Sorry Meryl I can't make the chat. LOL Sleep is winning over today. I did not get my DD to bed until after 12:30 this morning and that bright and early Dr.'s appointment ment no sleep for me.

Kelly - Did you see that Meryl is going to be away...so no chat next Thursday, June 15...but will be the following Thurs. ALSO....you can still get the chat freebie addon kit by buying the main kit, doing a layout and posting it to the T42 gallery, then PM Meryl with your gallery link and you can still get the Freebie addon kit. Your layout needs to be done with the main kit (and when you receive the addon, that can also be mixed with the main kit). You can also use elements from Meryl's other kits, but not from other designers, because Meryl is going to scraplift the winning layouts and make a plopper album, so they need to be her designs. See Meryl's posts earlier in this thread for additional "Rules" and details on where the gallery is located, etc.

Here is my layout this week using Meryl's wonderful Basic, Basic page kit and elements from the Freebie_01 and Freebie_02 sets. I did this layout for Mery's Heritage chat this week, so it is in that gallery for now. I was stumped as to what kit to use, so I ended up going back to "Basics" (haha....pun intended). I was pleased with how it turned out, as the elements in the Basic, Basic collection were perfect for my research notes.
