Mine arrived today in the mail! :) I saw in the other thread that others of you are getting yours as well. So, thought I'd start a thread to share what all you're doing with them.

I've only looked mine over briefly and will have to figure out what to do with it -- most likely it'll be a follow up for my folks of their 50th Anniversary Party, now that I've got all the photos together. :)

It is so great to have it in hand! :) I decided to make my book called Jaiden's Adventures. Each page is a different thing she has done this year like karate, aquarium, going hiking, one page is random, birthday.. I am going to give it to my sister in alabama since all my family live near her and she can share it with them. I am going to keep my 2nd one and make it jaidens birth album then do each birthday year on each page. I will probably call it Through the years.. or something like that.
I just hope I can figure out how to get my pages printed and on the book :)

:( I haven't seen mine yet - I'm getting one from the birthday bash and one from Meryl's challenges last week. I'll have to get my hot little hands on them before I decide.

Seeing as I live in Oz it will probably be a while before I get mine. They're probably still rowing across the ocean! :)

and i'd love to know if you'll use epson's templates, or use your program to just print your pages? the first round will arrive soon in the US (later in the rest of the earth, they did take the slow boat!)

Maybe there will be a way we can upload our pages on here and share with everyone. Someone could make a Epson Storyteller Pages gallery! LOL! :D

I purchased 3 of them to do for Father's Day gifts................
They turned out great except for the cover on the large one. My printer can't banner print for that length, so I had to get a little creative with cut & paste.
The albums themselves were a big hit............I was even asked to make some for friends.
Good luck with yours!
Haven't gotten mine yet... but I'm anxious to! :)
Glad you all are enjoying yours! :)

My storyteller arrived in the mail Saturday. It was from Meryl's second set of challenges.
I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet but I plan on trying to use my own software instead of the templates. I normally just do random pages so I'm not good at completing themed albums. This is intimidating me.

Don't be intimitaded. Your book doesn't have to have a definate theme to it. It can be "family" or "my children". Something broad. Have fun with it.
Maybe if you just scroll through your pictures, you will get ideas. That's what I do when I am faced with a project.
Maybe you might want to start playing with the software that is included. It is extremely easy to use. Just a bunch of ploppers. Starting is the hardest part.....................
Just have fun. You have no one to please but yourself.
Good luck

Problem is that I'm the most difficult person to please :)
I'm not really intimidated by the storyteller itself. It looks really easy to use. Templates aren't an issue either. I'm just not a template person.
I just never like actually starting a new album. Took me a year to start my hawaii vacation album.

I have both of mine.......but I haven't decided what to do with them for sure yet. I'm thinking of using one of them for my son's school pictures album for his senior table. I made one for my son who just graduated. I took each school year picture from K-12th and made a LO page (each totally different) and journaled some things that happened that year, what his favorite subject(s) were, etc. It turned out really nice. The Storyteller might make a nice one too......Just haven't decided.... and haven't really looked at the software yet. Do you just plop pictures in??? Or could you use PSPX (for instance) to make your pages and then print them to the Storyteller??? Anyone know yet?

There are different templates within the software. They are all ploppers. I don't know if you can use pspx, honestly, I didn't try.
I used the software that came with the book because I wanted to hook my daughter into digital scrapbooking (it worked!). Now my son also likes to play around with it! LOL!
The templates were on the plain side, but perfect for what I had intended it for.
The gifts were from my children to their dad & grandfathers, so I wanted to make sure that it was actually their work.
