Quick question!

I have noticed in some scrappers gallerys they have albums - My questions are how to do this and how to put say your current images in gallery into the album - eg moove heritage layouts into heritage album?

Thanks heaps in advance

Good question!

first, go to your gallery, and up at the top it will say My Gallery/ Album Admin/ My Favorites
Click on Album Admin and choose Add Album. Name it, click Add Album. Then go back to your gallery and open a layout to go in your new album and click Edit Photo. Under Destination, your personal albums will be at the bottom of the list. Do this for each layout to add to the album.
For future layouts, just choose your private album from the list when uploading.

Have fun!

I was thinking about using an album for certain LO's that I want to share with the family. I see in the set up that you can mark an album "private". Does this mean if I send them a link they'll need a pass word or anything?

if you give them the link to the private album they'll be able to get in :)

I created an album and started adding photos to it. Everything was ok until I edited the album to mark it private - I wanted to see how it worked. When I added the next photo it said "this forum requires a password" - so I put my password in - at least the one I think I use here and nothing.

I must be doing something wrong, but now I can't see any of the three pics I loaded to the album... :o

Go into Album Admin, and under the name of the album will be a link. At the end it says www......&password=something stupid like mullipit or garnjat or narvaton :D The password at the end is the password assigned to that album.

If you send that link the person who clicks on it will not have to enter the password, but if you send a link without that then they'll have to have the password.

You cannot change the password, it's just that dumb one, whatever is chosen, that you can see in Album Admin. Have fun!

I had wondered about this too, but hadn't asked it yet. Once again Emma, you are the answer woman! Thanks!
