I am reading about different graphic file formats, and came across PNG files vs GIF, and was wondering if there's any software the makes animated PNGs?
"n. Acronym for Portable Network Graphics. A file format for bitmapped graphic images, designed to be a replacement for the GIF (graphic interchange format), without the legal or patent restrictions associated with GIF"
Just curious...Adobe ImageReady always makes animated GIF, but wondering if PNG is going to take over this area as well. And what are the patent restrictions on GIF?
