Dotted Swiss

How do I make a "dotted swiss" pattern? Thanks :)

I dont' know what that is - so maybe an example would help :)

It's a cotton fabric with raised "dots" of cotton forming a pattern of (?) diagonals? (Maybe it would be easier to scan a nondescript piece of dotted swiss)! hmmm think I've solved my own problem, but I know it can be done in adobe. A pastel bg with usually white dots. thanks!
