I'm hosting a wedding shower for my brother's fiance in about a month. Trying to think of any papercraft type things for party favors. I did their engagement photos myself, so I don't have to worry about any copyright issues. I did a couple b&w retints for them that they really liked, I'm going to get a photo cake done with one of them. Any other suggestions? I was thinking about doing some bookmarks...

Last summer I made candy wrappers for miniature Hershey bars for a wedding. They turned out really cute. I used colors & graphics that matched the western theme of their wedding. On the back I wrote a 'thank you for sharing this day with us' type of note & signed it Mr & Mrs......

Hi Andrea - My son just got married a couple of months ago, and for one of their showers, I did personalized chocolate bars. They were a huge hit! Everyone wanted seconds! There are lots of places to download ideas, but the first thing you have to do is get the chocolate bar with a wrapper that is separate from the foil. A lot of wrappers are sealed now for security and health reasons. Let me know if you want to forge ahead with this idea and I will give you a quick rundown on how I did it. I also did coasters with their pictures on them. These are fairly easy and a big hit as well because you can put anything on them that you want. I did baby pictures of both of them with their upcoming wedding date. I hope this helps you out a little.

I'd be very interested in hearing more about how these are done if you don't mind sharing.
My daughter will be hosting a shower for her best friend early next year. An idea I put forward for suggestion was for each guest to bring along their favourite recipe/s, have their photos taken & then I could put together a small sized album - other ideas could include cocktail mixes, hints & tips etc. . .

A firend of mine hosted a wedding shower and each person brought in pictures of the bride and/or groom and a scrappage was created from the pictures. each person then wrote a little journal message on the bottom of the page for the bride and groom. My friend then put together a scrapbook of the pages from the wedding shower as well as the events that led up to the wedding day sucha s finding the dress etc.
