Ok, so what was your last entry in your Memory List?
Mine latest memory that was jogged was yesterday morning - Applewood Smoked Bacon. Here's the gist of it - and a start on my journaling. ;)
At the local farmer's market, there's a farm there that raises pigs organically, and they have the MOST wonderful Applewood Smoked Bacon. I first tried it a few years ago upon the recommendation of lots of folks. But it had a side effect for me I wasn't aware of. The first time I fried some up, I was almost in tears. It was evoking STRONG emotions in me - and the only thing that came to mind was Grandpa - eventually, I made the connection - he must have smoked his own bacon with wood from the apple trees in his yard. He was always doing things like that. Now I buy it as a treat, not something regular as I don't want to lose the specialness of the smell - wrapping itself around me like Grandpa's arms giving me a big hug.
