Ok so keeping with my new policy of making DIP/PI users think outside the BOX - Im posting another little mini challenge for all of you. Please post back in this thread any discoveries or helpful tips - lets write a "how to" tutorial once we all work it out together.

So what are we going to do?

Make a Etch-A-Sketch

Challenge: Make a Etch-A-Sketch in DIP/PI 0 (Yes we can do it people!!!)

OK, thanks for the challenge Ann-Maree. I've had a few goes at it this morning, this photo worked the best, though I'm not totally happy with the results. I found it difficult to get the grey coming through without losing the darkness of the black. Here's the link:

Well done to you two ladies for jumping in and having a go!!! Im very impressed!!! I think we will all have a play and see what we can come up with and share ideas etc!!!!

Here's my try at this ... I'm sure there has to be a correct way to do this ... I noticed Ann Maree did her's in Photoshop... NOT a criticism just an observation. So Ann Maree are you going to show us how to do this???

This is just a FUN challenge to get people out of their comfort zone. There is no right of wrong way just different effects to be achieved. Please post here any "discoveries or helpful tips" Hope you are all learning heaps and clicking those filters!!!

Merceph's tip - B&W effects/adjust levels aiming for a clear outline/filter stamp cut 1/adjust transparency 15%

Kitty Dog tip - B&W first/Shadows -10/midtones-26/contrast 42/Sat 74

Freda's tip - adjust lighting/adjust levels/black diffuse glow
