Format canvas help

Help! Does anyone else have this problem when they Format>Canvas? I've noticed that most times I use this feature, even if I've taken care to stretch the handles a little bit OVER the edge, the papers always "bounce back" so that I'm left with a thin white strip at the edge of my layout on one or more sides and I have to re-stretch my backgrounds to fit again. Hope this makes sense. I'm using DI Suite 2006. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I doing something wrong??

Sometimes things just go a little nutty!!!

Personally I always Start with a blank canvas/resize/name project

Ive never had your problem but then I have never really had to use the format canvas option - interesting little quirk tho!!!

No problem here. I never used the format thing either. Have you tried locking the pieces in place once you have them the way you want them?
I think it is another one of those quirk's too. I have problems with the gallery opening...and I didn't click on it!

yes, try locking your layer when you have it like you want it. I had that problem and this fixed it so it didn't move around the rest of the time while I was moving/adding things.
