I am COMPLETELY new at this. I have only glanced at the paper version of scrapbooking and have longed to starting to do some. When I came across a program called LumaPix, I loved it so much that I purchased it and found myself doing what appears to be scrapbooking digitally. I found this website and am very interested in learning new things.

I am a mother of 7 children  ; 6 boys & 1 girl (finally, she is #7). Boys range from 8 years old to 23 years old and my little girl is 5. Thats it for me though. I look forward to grandchildren next. I come from a family of 11 kids myself and my husband who recently retired from the US Army, came from a family of 6 kids. We both love animals, travel, and the outdoor life.

Hope to get to know all of you!

Julie

Welcome! We are always glad to meet new scrappers! Have a look around and make yourself at home. It's nice to meet others with big families - I have 5, 3 boys, 2 girls and one grandson (5). Make sure to join in on some chats, just to meet everyone!

Hi Julie, welcome to DSP! You have many good reasons to scrapbook -- and don't forget the journaling :) -- a great place to start is at the top of the page. Click on "new to digital" and on "tutorials" for some great help to create layouts with your photos. Many here use, or have used, Lumapix - be sure to ask questions if you have them. My favorite place is the gallery -- I find great ideas in color use, placement of photos, and journaling style. Have fun, glad you found DSP!

FotoFusion is a great program that you'll really enjoy! I have to dust mine off one of these days! Kristen teaches FF classes here at DSU that are great, and they'll help you get the most out of your software.

Welcome to DSP, we're so glad to have you! My husband and I are both from families of 8. He's #3 and I'm #7 (my sister Jennifer the photography moderator is #2). 6 boys in his family, 5 girls in mine!
