I have been downloading a lot of elements and things... here is my question. How do I organze them so I can see ALL the backgrounds, and ALL the frames, etc. I would really like to mix and match between groups of things, but I cannot remember what each one looks like, so it is difficult. How do you keep everything organized?

you can put them all in a folder and do get other content and then save that as a theme. most people don't prefer to see all of those at once, since they don't all match each other, and it's hard to thumb through the small tab at the top. but it's certainly doable if you prefer it that way!

I would suggest getting an organizer where you can keep your kits together but assign the items keywords, so if you want to see all the backgrounds it will pull them from all the kits and show them to you.

Hi Amanda. Do you have any recommendations for organizers? Could you use your standard photo organization tools?
Also, I am curious about whether this site is all about creating your own pages in software such as PSP or do you also talk about the growing number of scrap software out there such as LifeTimez, Memory Mixer, Picaboo etc.

Sorry I wasn't able to answer earlier, I've been out of town. Picasa is a great one - and its free from google. PSE 3.0+ has one built in.
We definitely like to see beginners using easier software. In fact, we have our own. Click Starter Kit in the menu :)
