I am trying to print a mini album that I've done as a gift and the quality of the prints is just horrible. I have an Epson Stylus R320, I think is what it says on there, and I am using Epson photo paper. I use HP Creative Scrapbook Assistant software. It's got to look better than what I'm getting. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Gosh, it is hard to say what's wrong without seeing the photos. Have you checked the resolution of the images to see if it is enough for a good print? Did you select the best quality printing mode? Maybe check to see the ink tanks are not clogged, do a head clean of the printer and a print alignment. Maybe others can offer some suggestions that would be more helpful. It's a pain when things don't go right! :)

Thanks for your suggestions. I'll try the head cleaner thing. And I'm pretty sure I'm choosing best photo option. It is very aggravating since I worked so hard to do my son's birth album and I'm having such difficulty with the quality of the pages. I appreciate your response, though!

HP Creative Scrapbook Assistant software
Click Print page icon/change settings/properties/choose best printing option

OR

File/Page setup/properties/choose best printing option.

More options -

What paper are you printing on? Most of us use paper = to our printers eg I have a HP printer and use HP glossy paper - there IS a big difference in printing quality when i use say kodak paper.

Do printer maintenance as per your printers manual.

Is it the photos or the actual mini album kits that are not printing right? If photos - check properties (right click photo) see what quality your photos are

They should print out like something at the shops - so perservere!!!
