At some sites I do not need to log in every time I go there. But at digital scrapbook place I need to log in each time. Is there an option I need to check?

Thanks,

Canay

I'm so glad you asked this! I haven't figured out my browser settings yet, plus I have an annoying popup blocker that interferes with cookies too.

On some sites, I was logged in automatically, but now when I go back I'm not. Was wondering why, if I don't visit often enough anymore so it doesn't remember my cookies (spend most of my time here :p ) When coming to DSP, I'm almost always logged in, but sometimes not.

My big problem is that I keep getting logged out. I'll be surfing, then try to make comment or post a layout or refresh a screen, and all of a sudden it's asking me to log in. Don't see a pattern, like if I take a break, have too many windows all with DSP open, or what...

I think I figured out the popup thing, and that's better now with cookies, etc; but the too frequent logging out, that has me stumped! Any suggestions? Perhaps it happens more on the days when I have auto-scheduled to dump my cookies and temp internet files, but I haven't noticed that trend either.

Thanks anyone!

You didn't mention which browser you are using, but I'll give a try for IE...

My first response would have been cookies being deleted automatically (an internest setting option). But, you said that you don't have that problem at other sites... so, the only thing I can think of is your privacy settings may be high. You can try: tools > internet options > privacy tab. This has a place to set how low or high you keep your privacy settings and how they are recognized by pages that use cookies. Try setting it to low.

don't know if that will help, but it's the only option I can think of... not an expert, so not a garuntee. But, hope it helps you.

sounds like a browser thing. mine keeps me logged in all the time, sorry! i think there is a setting when you register that says to use cookies or not, but i can't remember. you might check in your user cp first. then your browser. quite odd, sorry for the inconvenience! :)
